MindLens publishes original stories and cinematic films about the mind, human behaviour, technology, science, nature and the futures that might be. One idea, treated twice: as a written story you can read carefully, and — where it earns one — as a film you can feel.

Seven lenses on one question

Everything here comes back to how we see: how the mind builds a picture of the world, how people behave inside it, what our tools do to that picture, and what it might look like tomorrow — or in a world that never existed.

How we work

Wherever a story leans on research, it cites its sources at the end. When the evidence is preliminary — a single preprint, a small sample, one narrow task — we say so, rather than let a headline claim more than the research does.

Films are made with AI as the camera. Every frame is generated, but the point of view — the question being asked and the world built to answer it — is the actual work. AI is the medium here, not the subject.

How we use AI

Every story states how AI was involved in making it, in a note at the end headed “How this story was made.” There are three answers:

• None — written by people, without generative AI.
• Assisted — AI helped with parts of the work, such as research or drafting; people chose the subject and what to say.
• Generated — most of the text came from AI and was reviewed before it was published.

Whatever the tools, a named publisher — MindLens Editorial — is accountable for what appears here, and stories that lean on research link to the sources they rest on.

Who’s behind it

MindLens is an independent, faceless project — there is no individual byline, by design. The publication is the identity. Meet the editorial team.
